When asked what attracted him to Cameron Grove, Sonny Mills just smiled.

"The very first model we went in was The Holly," explained Sonny. "As soon as my wife walked in the door she said 'I'm home'. She made up her mind that fast."

 

After putting two daughters through college, Sonny retired from NIH in 1989 but still helps out with his friend's moving company. "I still work," explained Sonny. "But I only work when I want to work."

Mostly, he enjoys swimming laps, visiting with his seven grandkids and escaping to his own private retreat. "The loft is my space. We call it Sonny's World."
